The aim of Vodku is to play musically rather mixed-genre songs from Odessa and Central-Eastern-Europe intimate, consumable for everyone but in the same time on high quality.
In their music next to the defining Jewish motifs, and traditional Russian tunes, polyphonic singing swing, Dixieland, Balcan and Hungarian folk music elements are also appearing, creating a good atmosphere. There are treasures of motifs and there are broken melodies.

18th December
21.00 Kardos Quartet
Dániel Kardos - guitar, Hunor G. Szabó - percussion, Dávid Ülkei – alt saxophone, Dániel Mester - tenor & soprano sax, Árpád Vajdovich - bass
Their music can be described by creativity and openness for different genres. It is a combination of high quality music and popularity mixed with openness, playfulness and live music elements as characteristics of jazz. In their repertoire we find pieces that remind us to film music, more sentimental songs, pieces that are closer to jazz and have acoustic sounding, but also a strong folk music influence can be felt on their compositions - mostly from south-Slavic and klezmer music.
