Spinoza Budapest is a unique place in the heart of the Jewish district, neighboring three synagogues. Restaurant, café and theatre – in one. In Spinoza – open since 7 years – we offer various programs: theatre performances, concerts, book presentations and discussions.

We have two major program-series yearly: in the fall we organize the Spinoza festival including all art forms. In the spring  we offer a Jewish Music Festival.

Was Lenin Jewish? Was the Russian tsar Jewish? The cabarets of the 20ies are looking for the answers of theses questions – just like other people today on the Kossuth square.
In the cabaret of Bächer we cannot decide what the author is trying to make fun about. About the past? About the present? Or both?
