The Fröhlich Sweet shop has been founded by György Fröhlich in 1953 in the heart of the Jewish district as the only kosher sweet shop.
The choice of the shop is really broad: besides the traditional Jewish cakes – as flódni, Chanukah-doughnut, Purim Haman-ear, etc.  we can find other kind of sweets as well.
Jewish holidays have a traditional gastronomy – including sweets that taste real good . The calendar of the sweet shop is adjusted to this.
Naturally, the sweet shop is as professional in traditional Hungarian cakes as Jewish and Israeli food. French cream, Dobos cake, Eckler-doughnut or fresh, warm cottage cheese pie are part of the offer, just like Russian creamcake and many more.
