The “boulevardandbresnyev” Foundation for Supporting Central European Contemporary Social Art
The BandB gallery was founded in 2006 to find and help young, entrants of the art scene and to provide a continuous opportunity for displaying their works through organizing exhibitions. Our priority is to show new art forms, to find manifestations of social-art and to display them. The gallery, located in the heart of the district, on Király street is unique. We have organized close to 80 exhibitions and provided an opportunity for over 250 artists to show their works.
FÉNY / LIGHT Exhibition
The exhibition deals with the theme of light-miracle-sharing-joy-celebration from the perspective of creators working with photography. The pieces can be seen in the dark, with a torch while there are sounds in the background. Artists were chosen by an application procedure where the gallery has been called for works dealing with the themes above. Anyone could sign up independently from genre, art form or technology. The gallery will organize an auction from the exhibited works!
The exhibition can be seen every day between 15-21 o’clock.
